Saadat Islam Product & Growth Leader

I build products that grow revenue, fix broken teams, and treat users like adults. 16+ years of shipping across SaaS, AI, gaming, and healthcare. The best software earns its keep and then gets out of your way. That's the kind I like to build.

02 The character study

A little about me

I'm Saadat Islam. For 16+ years I've built, scaled, and fixed products, usually the ones that stopped working somewhere along the way. I've turned messy orgs into focused ones and shipped AI tools that actually move the numbers. The best software is honest with you and then gets out of the way. That's the kind I like to build.

Off the clock, I'm a full-time husband, dog dad to Reinhardt and Winston, and a part-time hacker. I live in Beaverton, Oregon. Give me sharp thinking, a direct conversation, and room to get shit done.

What I build forThe people, dogs, and life behind the work.

How I think

01 Tools, not tech theater

Whatever gets me closer to truth.

The people closest to the truth are the CS reps taking angry calls and the sales folks who hear every objection, so that's who I go to first. I also vibecoded this whole site just to feel engineering's pain: GitHub, CI/CD, Vercel deploys, all of it. Miserable, honestly. Worth it. Tech should solve a problem, not impress investors.

02 Question everything

The scientific method isn't just for labs.

Form a hypothesis, then try hard to prove it wrong. Most products die because the team fell in love with the first idea and never looked back. I take every feature down to its core assumption and go after it. If it's still standing, we build.

03 Ship to learn

Perfect plans are fiction.

Ship the dumbest version that works, then watch people break it. Their confusion is data. Their workarounds are your roadmap. Every good product I've shipped started out embarrassingly simple. The gap between what you think users want and what they actually do is where the real insight hides.
